National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool offers a choice of flexible spaces for the ceremony and reception. The HMS Trincomalee is perhaps its most iconic site, allowing couples to host a waterfront wedding with an old-world charm. Set on an 18th-century seaport, the historic vessel is available exclusively in its entirety, providing guests with engaging surroundings at every stage of the festivities. Between the Top Deck, Mess Deck, and Captain’s Cabin, you can host up to 70 guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, with an additional 10 for a drinks reception. For larger weddings, the Sir William Grey Suite contains ample space for as many as 140 standing guests, while the Baltic Suite can comfortably accommodate 120.
